I'm a bit puzzled by the behavior of the microtek V6 USL when trying it
    under xscanimage.

The light inside the scanner is on just before scanning, but when the
actual scan or preview starts, the light goes out, giving me always dark
    scans.

    - microtek V6 USL running on scsi.
    - built SANE 1.0.3 for Mandrake7.1/i686
    - xscanimage is using the backend microtek2 drivers

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!
