AVISION support for SANE!

    Hi!

    I have some trouble to get better documentation for the Avision SCSI
    scanners and I don't get any parallel or USB related documentaion
    from Avision Inc..

    Cause of this I want everyone who would like to see a avision parallel
    support in SANE to email to avision! ;-)

    Maybe "service@avision.com.tw" and "support@avision-labs.com" would
    be good ...

    Please make clear that we like to get an open source driver (for
    SANE!!) under the GPL! - They are thinking about "writing" a binary
    only driver with an properitary interface (dont ask ??? ...).

    You can point to the existing avision-scsi backend in SANE and to me
    as maintainer. <rene.rebe@myokay.net>

    PS: If someone out there has an Avision SCSI scanner (except the AV
        630CS which is known to work) please contact me ...
