Hers is my problem:
# cd ./tools
# ./find-scanner
find-scanner: found scanner "UMAX Astra 1200S V1.3" at device
/dev/scanner
find-scanner: found scanner "UMAX Astra 1200S V1.3" at device /dev/sg5
find-scanner: found scanner "UMAX Astra 1200S V1.3" at device /dev/sgf
# scanimage -l
scanimage: no SANE devices found
#
Here is my /etc/sane.d/umax.conf:
#scsi Vendor Model Type Bus Channel ID LUN
scsi UMAX * Scanner
scsi LinoHell Office
scsi LinoHell Office2
scsi LinoHell SAPHIR2
scsi Nikon AX-210
/dev/scanner
and,
# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
...
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: UMAX Model: Astra 1200S Rev: V1.3
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Just in case:
Kernel 2.2.6, glibc 2.1.1, egcs 1.1.2
What's wrong, and BTW what's /dev/sg[0-7] ? Scanner's SCSI ID?
Also, yesterday, findscanner gave me /dev/sg4 and /dev/sge instead ... I
haven't reboot my machine, but I've reboot my scanner. It was not
working.
Thanks,
Simon
