    Hi Ed,

    Thanks for your work on this. I installed 7.0.23 today.

    Unfortunately, while the "Device Busy" error is fixed, accessing the
    scanner is still apparently forcing a bus reset, meaning that after
    the first scan the scanner is no longer detected by the application.
    Running the SANE "find-scanner" and "scanimage -L" immediately after
    running VueScan seem to confirm this, as the scanner no longer
    appears in their results either. It does, however, continue to be
    listed in a "cat /proc/scsi/scsi".
