Hi Volkmar,
It would be useful to see an image that was scanned with your scanner, I
think I will recognise if it is a calibration issue or not (but I suppose it
is). Furthermore a logfile can give some useful information about the
scanner. You can create one by setting "option dump 2" in the microtek2.conf
file. Then type an "export SANE_DEBUG_MICROTEK2=128" and "xscanimage 2>&1
|tee xscan.log". You may try this with my newest version of the microtek2
backend, you can get it at http://home.t-online.de/home/karsten.festag (I
added your model code in todays version).
