M. Been from Trust support wrote to me the Scanner IMAGERY 2400 SP is
compatible to the Mustek-Scanners! but
scanimage -d mustek:/dev/scanner - h doesnīt work :-)
The Scanner is installed on a Linux-box / Suse 6.2 / Adaptec 2940
and find-scanner give me the following output:
find-Scanner: found scanner "Ashima IMAGERY 2400SP 5.07" at device /dev/scanner
find-Scanner: found scanner "Ashima IMAGERY 2400SP 5.07" at device /dev/sg0
scanimages --list-devices does nothing....
And now?
maybe maybe this supporter are right (I think so) but sane look for a
known string to take the right driver. It would be easy to get sane
supporting my scanner. But I canīt do it (I can code you a "Hello
World" but thatīs all :-(
Do I have a chance to get sane supporting my scanner that way? - or is
it a little bit more complicated - or less and I donīt see the forest
īcause of all the trees....?
Greetings from Germany
Michael
