Hi Jeff,

I think the ADF has nothing to do with vertical lines. There could be
some dust on the scanner element. Dont you get these lines when scanning
manually
or are these lines near the edge of the image ?
About the support of HP. You need to verify the problem using Windows
and
HPs own drivers.
