    Hi Steven,

    Did you check to see if scanner.c in the kernel drivers contains:-
    vendor=0x04b8 product=0x010b under Epson,
    and if not add this to it.

    I recently got a 1240U to work with kernel v2.4.2 (under RH7.0) by doing
    this.
