    Hello everyone,

This is my first post to the mailing list so I'm sorry if this is well
treaded ground (after searching the archive I don't think so though). I
want to develope a document imaging system for medical records here at
the hospital I work for (as IS Manager). I have done some testing
already using a flatbed scanner, some shell scripts I wrote, apache, and
some thumbnail gallery apps. So far, all looks good and we think we
want to invest in sheet feed scanner and cd burner. But, I have some
    questions....

    1. how does sane handle scanning with an ADF? I want to be able to drop
200 sheets in the feeder and let my script (which calls scanimage and
uses convert to make JPGs) loop through them until it's empty.

    2. What is a well supported scanner with a 250 sheet feeder available.
I like the HPs (which look like a 50-page feeder though), but something
a bit faster would be nice.

If anyone has done a similiar project please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Jeff Volckaert
