    Hello Heikki,

    there are some "switch" in snapscan-scsi.c, snapscan-sources.c and
    snapscan.c to modify the behaviour of the backend depending of the
    model (you can try to look for ACER300F for example). Have you tried
    to add your model in those switches, it has solved some identical kind
    of problem with other models.
