Hello,
I cannot use my Microtek ScanMaker 35t+ with Sane on my linux box. When I
try to scan a image, I have the following error message:
sane_start: Error during device I/O
The scsi card is a Tekram DC 390, and:
[jp@star jp]$ cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 03 Lun: 00
Vendor: YAMAHA Model: CRW4416S Rev: 1.0g
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: MICROTEK Model: ScanMaker 35t+ Rev: 1.60
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 01 CCS
As far as I know, Sane recognizes the scanner:
[jp@star jp]$ scanimage -L
device `microtek:/dev/scanner' is a Microtek ScanMaker 35t+ flatbed
scanner
device `microtek:/dev/sgb' is a Microtek ScanMaker 35t+ flatbed scanner
But when I scan:
[jp@star jp]$ scanimage -d microtek:/dev/scanner > scan.pnm
sane_start: Error during device I/O
Turning on debugging mode, the last lines give:

When I run in debugging mode, scanimage -h, it ends with:

I don't know what all of this signifie.
Feel free to ask me more informations (the complete debug files, for
example). I run Linux Mandrake 7.2 with kernel 2.2.17 and last sane 1.0.4
home compiled, and wait for your suggestions and help.
