    There are two solutions to your problem. One is running a web server
    with the CGI SANE client, the other is getting the windows sane
    client. Both are linked from the projects web page.

    (You can also compile scanimage using CygWin32, but it is a pain and
    requires manual linking with the net backend. :-)
