Hi,
I am having trouble getting a Canon film scanner to work. It was working under an old install of RedHat (6.1 I think), but I did something and have not had any luck since. I have tried under several versions of RedHat with no luck. Currently the machine is running RedHat 7.0beta with the 2.4.0-test5 kernel.
The problem that I am having is when ever I do a scan it just returns noise. Scanimage finds the scanner ok, but it misses something in the scan. I am probably missing something simple. Any ideas?
Cheers J
