    Hi,

my new Mustek 12000 Pro scanner, supported Firmware 1.01, does not work. When
starting xsane or scanimage the scan job stops after a few seconds, after
appr. 5 or 6 cm. No scan result appears into the xsane window.

I tried all possible settings and combinations into the mustek.conf file, no
    changings.

The scanner works fine because I tested it into my old Win NT 4 installation
    on the same machine.

I am using sane-1.0.3 and xsane-0.61, and also tried the sanei_scsi.c
    patch from this mailing list:

The scanner is connected to an Adaptec 2940-AU controller, which is the 2nd
scsi host beside an Adaptec 2940-UW (which can't be used for external
devices - both internal ports used).

I added an active scsi terminator to the Mustek scsi port. The external scsi
cable is brand new and ok. But it can't be an scsi or cable problem because
the scanner works into NT 4.;-)

Hardware: AMD K6-2/500 with 256 MB Ram, SCSI only system.

    Any help is welcome!
    Thanks,
    Thomas
