Running xcam (LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/pack-linux86/sane-1.0.2/lib/sane/
/pack-linux86/sane-1.0.2/bin/xcam), Devices->Specify Device name,
entering /dev/sga, clicking OK, results in this
message:
Error:
Failed to open device '/dev/sga'. Invalid argument.
OK
No matter what I try, I always get that error box.
ls -l /dev/sga /dev/scanner
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 Jul 21 13:12 /dev/scanner -> sga
crw-rw---- 1 root scanner 21, 0 May 5 1998 /dev/sga

I am lost. What am I doing wrong? Or missing?
