    Hi Andreas! Thanks for the code, it did seem to fix my problems.

    My next question: How do I scan an entire strip of film?
    Is it possible to choose which frame in the film that I scan?

    I also used your `setenv SANE_DEBUG_COOLSCAN 128`, but since the
