EPSON Perfection 1200 problems

    Hi folks,

    I have SUSE 6.4 installed on my system.
    It run with the 2.2.14 kernel and the usb backport 2.3.42

    I install sane 1.0.2 with the latest EPSON backend.

    but something went wrong.

    here are what I do with results:

    ls -la /dev/usbscanner
