Hi. I also have a ScanExpress 6000P. The stand-alone a4s2 works well. The
SANE backend either hangs or produces garbage images.
I know my way around a bit in the SANE sources (because I made large
portions of the Canon backend), so I will try to debug the a4s2 backend
and send anything I can fix.
