Hi Gady,
1) make sure the maximum cable length is not acceded
(150 cm if there are Ultra scsi device connected, 300 cm if only fast scsi devices are connected).
2) make sure the bus is terminated correct
3) make sure you took the right dirver for the scsi controller and you disabled reconnect/disconnect.
For the DC390 (its a symbios logic 53c8xx card - right - you sould try the bsd-53c8xx driver).
