Hi,

the dtc3181 is supported by the module g_NCR5380. Here a domex card
DMX3181LE runs with the settings

modprobe g_NCR5380 dtc_3181e=1 io=0x280 irq=255
^^
(maybe it was ioport, have a look at
/usr/src/linux/drivers/scsi/README.g_NCR5380)

unfortunately the dtc_3181e=1 (or dtc3181e=1 if you want to compile it
into the kernel) switch is a patch which is not documented in the
README. have a look at the source for other possible io ports.
