Just decided to let you know about the development going on with
linux-usb, currently they are working on a scanner driver for the usb
hewlett packard scanner series. The web site is on the suse server
somewhere, they can be contacted at linux-usb@suse.com.
I just happen to have a HP 4100c which after purchasing found was not
compatible with windows 95 osr2 and my computer combination, it works on
other computers by the way and mine with windows 98, however I don't
wish to support microsoft and hence will not be buying it.
Anyway I was hoping that when these guys get their driver working to use
it with SANE and get it working, are you already doing anything with
this? If not I will be happy to pass on my results.
