Fujitsu scanner : make a driver !

I'm wishing to developp a fujitsu scanner 309X drivers for sane, because
of my need to use thoses scanners under Linux. All this work will be
GPL'ed.

I've got the 309X specifications from fujitsu-japan, so no problem from
this side.

Is there anybody who whish to help ? I'm working in hand writing
recognition, so I'm a 'normal' C++ level developper. I don't know
anything about SCSI scanners under Linux (yes, I'm currently reading
sane's documentation).
