We'd probably dance around in joy.
We already have some first sucesses on Win, and if we could spread to Mac,
TWAIN is more or less dead meat, which is IMHO good :-).

Note, that we tried to separate out some hardware-access details, so that
maybe you could even recycle drivers to some extent, by just swapping out
the SCSI layer.
