I use scanimage.

Thats it! I thought it would be a problem of the backend because the light
of the scanner moves if I try to scan an area not at the beginning of the
picture as I've written in my earlier mail.
Scanimage works with the mode Color without any resolution specifier, but
not in Gray or Lineart. But I didn't find it in the manpage of scanimage
or in the scanimage -h.
