Hmm - hope this reaches you, but ...

This is theoretically possible, and was suggested many times. But noone has
yet produced anything. Is there someone out there who is working on that ?
If not, someone who would give it a try ?
I am using a CGI based solution over the Web, which isn't perfect and tuned
for a single scanner. If I find a larger piece of free time that is not
occupied by one of my other projects, I might give a JAVA frontend a try,
but I have no clue about windows programming and much less about programming
a TWAIN source.
Anyone to jump in ? Many want this functionality - why isn't there someone
to implement it ?
