I just want to reort that I've had some success using this scanner
with sane 0.71. If I set SANE_DEBUG_MUSTEK=128 I'm able to make b/w
scans--no color scans though. This is when I'm using xscanimage from
within Gimp--if I try to use xscanimage on it's own gimp cannot open
the output files. Anther problem: The window in Gimp that displays
the scanned image is much too large--I run X at 800x600 on a 14"
screen but it's still too big...
