My system consists of HP scanjet5p and AHA2940.
I have set up gtk, the latest gimp and sane as said in the
documentation, I put the line /dev/sg0 to the hp.conf and made
a link /dev/scanner to /dev/sg0. When invoked, 'xscanimage' said
something about a snapscan, which I don't have. So I set all lines in
the dll.conf under remark but 'hp'.
Now when I call 'xscanimage' I get a dialog box to choose
the device but after having clicked 'ok' it simply vanishes and
nothing happens.
Do you have a clou ?
