Re: ./configure doesn't think I have X

OK, I added this line to configure:

x_includes=/usr/X11R6/include
x_libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib

(actually, i didn't add anything, i changed NONE to these values). after
running ./configure, make and make install, there still isn't an
xscanimage binary. there is scanimage, and it starts the scanner fine,
but then a whole lot of gibberish appears on the screen.

???
