I have a Mustek 600 SP/II, and a 53c810 SCSI adap. using sane from gimp.
At first it worked slow, but ok. Then I made the two changes suggested in
the manpage (for speedup), and suddenly it crashed with sigsegv every time
I chooses preview window.
Then I turn off "preserve preview image" in the preferences, and preview
window starts ok, but when I select "aquire preview" sane exits with a
** ERROR **: sigsegv caught
If I just make a region with the rollers, it scans it ok (but its fairly
hard to guess how much to scan ;o)
I've tries the change in preview.c previosly suggested on this list
