I'm afraid that's not unusual. It _may_ be possible to get it to
work, but even then you probably would not be happy with the result.
The card is not interrupt driven so while a scan is in progress, the
system becomes essentially useless. IMHO, it is well worth the $50 or
so that it takes for a real (e.g., ncr810) based scsi card.
