Sure, understood. Being able to say that you wrote a _useful_ Java
program is probably a mighty neat thing to have on your resume
though. ;-)

Well, it's free software, after all. Nobody will sue you if it
doesn't work out and many folks might thank you if it does.

Can't speak for JDK1.1, but as far as SANE is concerned, there won't
be any major changes in the near future (not as far as
interfaces/network protocols are concerned; functionality-wise, I'm
hoping for giant leaps!).

Anyhow, I put your name down in the PROJECTS file as being interested
in doing this (if you'd rather not have your name/email address listed
there, just give me a holler and I'll remove it).
