Hello, my name is Milen Cholashki
I own Fujitsu M 3096G , and M 3097G scanner. I have 2 problems. First my
preview docs not work. The error i got is : " Failed to start scanner .
Invalid argument ".
Second problem occurs during scanning. Scaner does not get the while image,
but only the upmost part of it, and it is repeatet along the whole scanning
area. You can see this in the attached file.
Real scan area = 64 KB
I have done this test which following types of scanner :
1. M3096G - 2 pcs.
2. M3097G - 1 pcs.
I make probe which Microtec ScanMaker E6 - its working fine !!!
Configuration:
Celleron 667 Mhz
320 MB RAM
Adaptec AH 1540 (bios off)
Red Hat 7.1
Kernel 2.4.2-2
SANE-backend-1.0.5
SANE-frontend-1.0.5
{ and ... xsane 0.78, xsane 0.65 ... }
SCSI terminator - (M3096 have 2 SCSI connector)
Other tests : scsibuffersize 32768 -- 1048576,
kernel - sg.h = max SG_SCATTER (32 * 4096)
Other PC which Win 95/98 and TWAIN 32 + ASPI32 layer
Can you help me to resolve this problem ?
I wile apprechiate any ideas, suggestion or advices.
