Hello.

Just a quick note to let you know that the Canon fb330p/fb630p parallel
scanner project upon which I have been working is in a testable
alpha-quality state.

This is a stand-alone driver, it is not yet a SANE backend.

Both fb330p and fb630p parallel scanners are supported.
You can scan in 75, 150, 300 dpi for both scanners, and 600 dpi for 630p
only.
Full-colour or greyscale modes are supported, and the output is fully
colour-corrected (I think).

Get the code from http://members.dingoblue.net.au/~kinsei/scanner/scanner-stable-1.tar.gz
..but remember to read the README.

http://members.dingoblue.net.au/~kinsei/scanner/sundial.jpg shows an actual
completely unmodified scan done on my FB330P at 75dpi.
