    Hello,

My Epson GT-7000 scanner is detected by the kernel, see below.

With Sane and a new Epson backend I'm able to use the scanner and produce
    some nice pictures.

I'm using Sane-1.0.3 and the Epson Sane backend sane_epson_20001209a.tar.gz ,
    sane_epson_20001225.tar.gz linux-2.4.0-test12.
