I use and love Minolta scanners, but they're not supported by SANE.
They _are_ however, supported on Linux by Hamrick Software's VueScan.
Even on Windows, VueScan is the only proper way to drive a Minolta
scanner. Being able to do this on Linux with the same software is a
nice bonus. :)

By the way, you might want to define what you're planning to do with
this scanner. The scanners you list represent an incredible array of
capabilities: from APS to medium format, from 2400 dpi up to 4000 dpi,
SCSI vs. USB, etc. Surely they can't all be right for your purposes...
