    Hi,

As a reminder: Feature freeze is scheduled for 2000-11-27.
Please do not add new backends or new features to existing backends
after feature freeze. After about two more weeks it's time for code
    freeze.

I'm pretty sure that the following things can be fixed until feature
    freeze:

    * AIX compilation/installation problems with shared libraries: Oliver
      is working on this.
    * Irix compilation problems with dc210/jpeg library: Oliver and me are
      working on this problem.
    * Removing xscanimage and xcam: Will be done by Oliver.

Any other changes (other than backend updates)?

What about the changes to the snapscan backend? Are they supposed to
go into 1.0.4 or isn't this stable enough?

    Bye,
      Henning
