Hello.
I have Suse 7.0 with kernel 2.2.16 running.
Now I am trying to get my scanner connected to a Tekram scsi controller
to work.
A "modprobe ncr53c8xx" works fine and a "cat /proc/scsi/scsi" gives me a
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00
Vendor: Model: Scanner Rev: 1.80
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 04
But when I use xsane or xscanimage microtek:/dev/sg2
the LED at my scanner flashed for half a second and that's it. It just
won't scan.
And /var/log/messages says (during modprobe):

I am sure I have everything needed for that in my kernel, since it used
to work perfectly on Suse 6.2 with
2.2.10
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thomas
