Argh. :-) Do I really need to take such difficult decisions?
I suggest make a new subdirectory in sane/, and putting it there. I
suggest calling this sane-frontend/. It should be a complete
distribution on its own.
This way there is only one subdirectory to check out for developers,
and we could easily make tree distributions, one with everything and
two for the backends and frontends.
The other alternative is to make a new subdirectory parallell to
sane/, but then people would need to check out two CVS trees.
Any comments or objections? If not, Oliver, just go ahead. :-)
BTW: Is there really anyone using xscanimage and xcam? I use xsane
when I want to scan something, and scanimage when I want to test
something. I guess we will find out. :-)
