xsane + user + mustek_pp

    now my scanner is scanning i as a normal user xsane doesn't starts, because
    there "is" no device. an how i learned the "option auth" in mustek_pp.conf
    doesn't work.
    has anybody an idea how i can get access to the pp-devices as normal user?
