Hi Moritz!

I think Petter is right, joining an already existing project might be
better! For frontend issues, the last time I had a look on kscan it
definitely needed somebody to work on it. I don't know if something has
changed for KDE2, but it is definitely worth to have a look.

The documentation for the SANE standard is included in the source package
and it is really excelent!
