    Hi Abel,

    it depends on the frame buffer of the scanner.
    Most umax scanners use between 223KB and 2MB.
    As far as I see this is the limit for the transfered data size of one scsi command
    if the buffer is large enough. At least a single sanei_scsi_cmd() is able to
    get several 100KBytes. (Tested with a PowerLookIII with 2MB framesize and
    2MB scsi-buffer-size. Looks like a 2MB buffer does work).
