    I don't know this SCSI-adapter. I think you must disable synchronos
    transfers (and possibly other options) for the Mustek scanners.

    Looks really ugly. The kernel doesn't detect your scanner, it thinks it's a
    hard disc. Please check your cables, is the first and the last device
    terminated properly? Are there any other devices on the SCSI bus?

    This is not a SANE problem.

    If the SCSI-driver doesn't find the the scanner, find-scanner can't find it
    either.
