TWAIN is Windows and MacOS, so far. I think the TWAIN WG would be delighted
to have Linux support as well, and if a credible project were under way,
it would probably get plenty of support from TWAIN.
And I bet the TWAIN folks wouldn't mind getting into the Linux door
ahead of ISIS:-)
