Report on last CVS snapshot

    Hello,

    Yesterday I tried the 02/06 version of the new snapshot available from
    Petter Reinholdsen (did I write it right?).

    I've got:

    AMD K6 450 overclocked -> 495 MHz
    128 MB RAM
    Linux Mandrake 6.1 (waiting to get a new distribution)
    Agfa Snapscan 1236s SCSI with Adaptec UW 2940 controller

    Compiling works with MANY warnings, but it works.
    scanimage finally WORKS with no problems - tried only at 150 dpi, but
    Megan Gale's body from Omnitel ads looks really fine :-)))))

    In the next few days I'll try it with xscanimage: I didn't succeed in
    using XSane 0.54 - it reports me that libsane.so.1 is missing. Is this
    because I didn't make install, or some other problem?
