I have wrapped up a new CVS snapshot of the unstable development
version of SANE. It is available from
<URL:http://www.student.uit.no/~pere/linux/>.
This is the last snapshot before we enter code freeze next sunday.
The schedule after that is 14 days to fix documentation and grave bugs
before we release a new version (1.0.2?).
We are currently in test phase. Please test this new snapshot on as
many platforms, compilers and scanners as possible. If there still
are bugs in this snapshot, that you have reported earlier, please let
us know. If there are patches or features missing, please let us
know. You have less then one week to add features and remove bugs,
and a little longer to remove really grave bugs.
To update a old snapshot to the latest CVS content, run 'cvs login',
type 'anoncvs' as the password, and then run 'cvs update' to fetch the
latest files.
The news file has not changed much the last week:
