I don't know if this is fixed in new sane, but old sane, my epson parallel
scanner wouldn't work if lp module was loaded.
But new one won't compile, has this error....
gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../include/sane -I../include -D_GNU_SOURCE
-DPATH_SANE_CONFIG_DIR=/opt/etc/sane.d -DPATH_SANE_DATA_DIR=/opt/share
-DV_MAJOR=1 -DV_MINOR=0 -O3 -Wall -fPIC -DPIC alloca.c -o .libs/alloca.lo
In file included from alloca.c:25:
./include/sane/config.h:252: parse error before `if'
make[1]: *** [alloca.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/sane-devel-20000130/lib'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
thanx for help!
