Hi everyone,

I tried to get work a Mustec Paragon 1200 Pro (approx tree years old), but
it fails.

It will be usual to give some information about my system: Notebook P133,
48MB RAM, Adaptec 1460B SlimSCSI PCMCIA Interface, 1st host is a CDROM
drive ID 0, 2nd host is the scanner. The SCSI card ist working with te
"aha152x" driver of the pcmcia package. I am using SuSE 6.2 and the
precompiled packages of sane and gimp and I didnīt forget to give the user
access to /dev/sg1. Also the scanner link to /dev/sg1 exists.

And here are the results from last night:

# cat /var/run/stab :
Socket 0: Adaptec APA-1460 SlimSCSI
0 scsi aha152x_cs 0 scd0 11 0
0 scsi aha152x_cs 1 sgb 21 1
Socket 1: Serial or Modem
1 serial serial_cs 0 ttyS2 4 66

# cat /proc/scsi/scsi :

Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: SCANNER Model: Rev: 2.01

# find-scanner :
find-scanner: found scanner "SCANNER 2.01" at device /dev/scanner
find-scanner: found scanner "SCANNER 2.01" at device /dev/sg1
find-scanner: found scanner "SCANNER 2.01" at device /dev/sgb

# scanimage -L

device `pnm:1' is a Noname PNM file reader virtual device

# scanimage -d /dev/sg1 :
scanimage: open of device /dev/sg1 failed: Invalid argument

Did I forget something other? I tried some tunings in the
mustek.conf but it failed to. Unfortunately the scanner doesnīt work with
Win95 to, so I canīt exclude that the scanner is damaged. Is there anybody
with similar experience who can give me some tips?

Thanks
Klaus
