Since the machine is at home, I cannot send the exact
/proc/scsi/scsi now. But the Scanner identifies itself as SCANNER
in /proc/scsi/scsi (where normally the brand stands).

correct. I've testet it, till 72 dpi it works without any
problems. Also the Preview is fine.
