a Microtek Scanmaker E3 Plus connected to my Amiga 1200 via a phase5
SCSI-Kit IV, and I'm running Debian GNU/Linux on a 2.0.36 kernel. SANE sounds like
just what I need, so I got an>

appreciated. I realise there may not be (m)any SANE users/developers with Amigas
running Linux, but no harm in asking :^)

The list of scanner attributes looks good, but the error message
doesn't. To tell your more, where the application fails, please
enable debugging (set SANE_DEBUG_MICROTEK2 to 30) and send
the output to the list or to me directly (use bernd@aquila.muc.de
as email address; if it is too long, please send only the last
lines).

The fact that the attributes are printed means that the backend
is basically able to communicate with the device.
