I was thinking, the coeffs need be calculated only once for each
filmtype. So the user can provide a sufficiently contrasty slide
or neg with a sufficient amount of colors, calibrate on that and
save it as a profile. Btw, the calibration can be done on the preview
image.

Yes my frontend does this already, together with 3x3 color correction
and some other color matrices for color saturation and stuff. Next
thing will be unsharp masking.
